Tracy Evanson started Healed Women Heal (HWH) in 2013 with the belief that nobody should have to experience any form of intimate partner violence. Since then, Tracy has built HWH into an organization that provides unconditional support to every young woman it has had the pleasure of serving.
Tracy works relentlessly to ensure that HWH is able to provide the absolute best support to all those it serves. Tracy is a certified domestic violence advocate, a certified coach, and has a master's degree in human behavior. Her everlasting passion for service has also led her to be a member of the Pomona COVID-19 Action Committee and the San Gabriel/Pomona Self-Determination Local Volunteer Advisory Committee. She also serves on the Transitioning Age Youth Advisory Committee at Tri-City Mental Health. She is a certified sexuality educator and trainer.
Tracy's qualifications go well beyond her academics and certifications, as she also draws on personal experiences. As a survivor of domestic violence, Tracy understands the pain and trauma on a level that only a survivor could. Tracy is also a fierce advocate for individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities. Her oldest daughter has a diagnosis of cerebral palsy, intellectual disability, and seizure disorder, and Tracy has been advocating for her for more than 20 years.
