About Me

I am a passionate professional with a genuine heart for helping others.
I am a parent of three awesome adult children. My oldest daughter, who has a diagnosis of cerebral palsy, intellectual disability, and seizure disorder, is served well by San Gabriel/Pomona Regional Center.  I have been advocating for my daughter for over 20yrs and support families in gaining access to services at the Regional Center.  I serve on our city COVID 19 action committee, our local volunteer advisory committee at San Gabriel/Pomona Regional Center, and I’m a member of a TAY advisory committee at Tri-City Mental Health, an organization serving individuals with mental health needs in 3 cities.  I am a certified domestic violence advocate, a certified coach, and I have my master's degree in human behavior. I’m a survivor of domestic violence with a nonprofit organization supporting TAY girls and individuals with developmental/intellectual disabilities increase independence and self-esteem to prevent dating violence and domestic violence.  Sometimes we need support putting pieces of a challenging puzzle together.  I believe everyone should have access to resources and means to meet their needs and live a happy and healthy life free from violence and abuse of any kind.
